Instructions for downloads:
1. Click the appropriate link above.
2. Select Save.
3. Save to your Desktop file.
4. Once the installer file is on your desktop; double click the file and finish installing the program.

Instructions for updates:
1. Click on the appropriate link above. (Make sure your journal is not open!)
2. Click the Save tab.
3. Go to your local drive "usually drive C" located in My Computer and select your Program Files.
4. Select the appropriate file; Hunter's Journal or Fishing Log.
5. Now click Save. Once the update is through installing, close the update box and re-open your journal. If you see the statement; "The file you are trying to install already exists. Are you sure you want to replace it?" Select YES.
You should not have to restart your computer for the updates to take effect.  


If you have the 2007-2010 version installed;

If you already have journal entries, first:

Browse to the directory you have installed the program. This will typically be c:\Program Files\Hunters_Jourrnal or c:\Program Files\Fishing_Log.

Copy the hj.dat or fl.dat file to another location.

Uninstall your old version. Install the update.

Browse back to the install directory and run repair.exe.

If for some reason running repair.exe does not restore all of your entries, email the saved hj.dat or fl.dat to keith@alphanetworx.com. We will send you a corrected Database to install that will have your entries.
